How to Join The Society
Membership is open to all those interested in diatoms. Members receive the journal DIATOM once or twice a year, and also gain access to the online journal. All papers are in English or Japanese. Japanese papers have abstracts and figure legends in English. The members are entitled to contribute papers to the journal and to purchase back issues at reduced price.
Personal subscriptions of members who resides outside of Japan, are currently only 3,000 JPY per year.
You can join online with a secure credit-card payment (PayPal).

Or you can make payment in the following way.

1. Visit PayPal's site (https://www.paypal.com/)
2. Login your account.
3. Clik "Pay for goods or service".
4. Enter "membership@diatomology.org".
5. Enter "3,000" and chose "JPY".
6. Check the display and click "Send Payment now"
Otherwise, you may download a form and send it to Membership Service with Bank Draft for the amount of 8,000 JPY (including a bank charge 5,000 JPY) .
